Every Sunday morning i take a light jog around a park near my home.There's a lake located in one corner of the park. Each time i jog by this lake,i see the same elderly woman sitting at the water's edge with a small metal cage sitting beside her. This past sunday my curiosity got the best of me,so i stopped jogging and walked over to her.As i got closer , i realized that the metal cage was in fact a small trap.There were three turtles , unharmed , slowly walking around the base of the trap.She had a fourth turtle in her lap that she was carefully scrubbing with a spongy brush. "Hello ",i said. " I see you don't mind my nosiness ,I'd love to know what you're doing with these turtles." She smiled, "I'm cleaning off their shells",she replied. " Anything on a turtle's shell,like algae or scum,reduces the turtle's ability to swim.It can also corrode and weaken the shell over time. " "Wow! That's really nice of you " I exclaimed she went on. " I spend a couple of hours each sunday morning, relaxing by this lake and helping these little girl out. It's my own strange way of making a difference. " But don't most fresh whole lives with algae and scum hanging from their shells?" I asked. " " Yep , sadly, they do,"She replied.I scratched my head."Well then, don't you think your time could be better spent? I mean , I think your efforts are kind and all, but there are fresh water turtles living in lakes all around the world and 99% of these turtles don't have kind people like you to help them clean off their shells.So,on offense......but how exactly are your localized efforts here truly making a difference? " The woman giggled aloud.She then looked down at the turtle in her lap.Scrubbled off the last piece of algae from its shell,and said , " Sweetie , if this little girl could talk,he'd tell you i just made all the difference in the world. The moral: You can change the world maybe not all at once, but one person one animal and one good deed at a time. Wake up every morning and pretend like what you do makes a difference. It does.

मेरे नाम अनुराधा कुमारी है। मैं झारखंड के लोहरदगा जिला की रहने वाली हु। मेरे पिताजी का नाम मुकेश महतो है और वे किसान है। मेरे माता का नाम संजू देवी है और वो एक गृहणी है। हमलोग पांच बहन और एक छोटा भाई है। मैं अपनी पढ़ाई झारखंड से ग्रेजुडेशन की हु। मुझे हमेशा से कुछ अलग करना था लेकिन मेरे घर वाले कभी सपोर्ट नहीं करते । मैंने अपनी जिंदगी मैं पैसों को लेकर बहुत दिक्कत सही हु , जब भी मुझे कुछ खाने या कुछ लेने का मन करता तो ये सोचती थी की अगर इस पैसे से कुछ खा लिया तो फीस कैसे दूंगी । मैंने अपनी पढ़ाई स्कॉलरशिप के पैसे से की है । मेरे घर में हमेशा से लडको को ज्यादा वैल्यू दिया गया वो लोग को जो चाइहिए तुरत मिल जाता। मेरा हमेशा से मन था की अच्छे कालेज स्कूल में पढू पर कभी पूरा नहीं हुआ । मैंने पापा को बोला की पापा मुझे बाहर पढ़ाई करना है कुछ करना है तो पापा बोले पैसा नही है यही रह कर पढ़ो । पैसा नही है बोलते तो है पर शादी के लिए पैसा पता नही खा से आ जाता है । जब मैं 11 में थी उसी वक्त से देख रही हु की शादी को लेकर मेरे घर पर बहुत ही फोर्स किया जाता है मेरी दीदी को भी लड़के वाले देखने आए जब वो क्लास 11 में थी । मेरे घर वाले सोचते है की लड़की है जल्दी शादी कर देना चाहिए ताकि कुछ गलत नहीं कर सके । दूसरे से मांग कर शादी करेंगे पर अपनी बेटी को उसी पैसे से पढ़ना नहीं चाहते है। मैंने शादी के लिए मना किया तो मुझे पापा बोलने लगे की मर जाओ हम सोचे की काश में पैदा लेते ही मर गई होती। मेरे मन में हमेशा से था की मुझे कुछ करना है मुझे भी लोग जाने लेकिन घर वाले भर निकलने नही दिए और आज भी उस दिन का इंतजार कर रही हु की मैं इस पिंजरे से कब आजाद हो जाऊंगी। मैंने आईएएस श्रुस्ति देशमुख को देखा मैं उनसे बहुत इंस्पायर हुई की मुझे भी उनकी तरह बनकर दिखाना है और जब मैं बनूंगी तो अपनी जैसी लड़कियों के लिए आवाज उठाऊंगी जो कुछ करना चाहती है पर घर वाले उनके सोनो को मार देते है और उसे शादी करा कर दूसरे के घर में नौकरानी करने चोद देते हैं। वो लड़किया जिंदगी भर अपने सपनो को मार कर दूसरे को खुश रखने में लग जाती है।

I became an inspiration for others in my society by learning driving car at an early age. I drove car alone from Kanpur to Jaipur which inspired boys also to do so. Even awarded as a best Lady driver . After my father’s death I supported my family financially. I started my career as a teacher and continue with the post of principal which not only exemplifies my growth path but also impacts on the wider community.

Being a Third girl child of my family society norms started . At my teenage I lost my father. Being a student I became a home teacher.
