I had a dream od always having my cafe when i was young. I was working with JP morgan chase in mumbai until.lockdown and then returned to my hometown nagpur in 2020. I was looking for marriage and found a guy in states to tie the knot. After moving, i tried to get used to the culture there, tried to get a job but nothing seemed to work and my husband continued to blame me for everything. The continued emotional and mental abuse made me return 😢 and i convinced him to drop me back to my city until i find a job or stabilize the situation. I came to nagput in may this year and as i felt useless and ashamed that i couldnt do something useful in the states and what he made me believe about myself, i felt i should do something as i wasnt getting any calls from companies for the job. The job market was too bad for the timing. I thought of starting my own business and thought of belgian waffle co as i always loved the waffles from this place in mumbai. And then what, it was the best decision of my life. I opened the outlet a few days back and have been getting great response. Im getting the food bloggers for barter and they are helping me promote my business like anything. Im also looking for a job and doing some freelance remote work in my free time. Along with that, i dance, i swim and i go to the gym. I started fitness journey, handle this business, live with my loving beautiful family and planning for my internation trip soon. I learnt one lesson from mh journey : Never let anyone tell you what you can do or cannot. Never beleive in anyone if they say you arent capable of something. People will try to eat up your confidence to gain control and power over you but dont let them. If you dont feel mentally safe and at peace with someone, just leave. I would love to continue my journey and now i have decided to make all my wishes true. I will.live the life i deserve and i always wanted. I wish i get a stage and an opportunity to get to people and inspire them, help them and teach them all i have through my journey and especially help women out there who feel trapped or have to live with any wrong decision they ever took in their lives. You can restart your life any day you want, its just one decision away. I would love to educate and help.women and empower them to feel they have equal opportunity and rights for everything in the society. Thank you !

Born in a joint family and growing up in seeing family conflicts always and also abuse of the females including my mother , it was difficult to continue studies , yet my mother was a strong lady who decided to take me n my sister to the city where we could get better environment. But my father was an addicted person so problem persisted there too. Still we overcame all hurdles and achieved high degrees. I was the older one so was married at early age as my mother was helpless and I became mother by next year, again problem for me as I couldn’t do anything for my career. But I determined to make my identity. So pursued more degrees necessary to be a teacher, it was very difficult to manage with small a baby and family responsibilities, but I managed it and today I m working as an assistant professor and my journey continues,

I'm a Botanist working on Medicinal plants. I'm Organic Farming teacher as well. I conduct sessions on Environmental awareness and issues to various schools and colleges and corporate employees. I have published two books with related to Medicinal plants.

Whatever may be the field of progress in life, be it political, economic, social or cooking, women today have been trying to reach the pinnacle of satta. Something like this, today I, Deepa Dalmia, am going to share with you one of my stories related to cooking. Some time ago, for the first time, a cooking competition was organized on a large scale in Lucknow by chef Mrs. Pankaj Bhadauria. For the first time in my life, I gathered courage and took part in any competition and my recipe got selected in one go. I made the recipe given by her with complete presentation and preparation and I became the winner. I got the title of Mrs Queen from them with induction top, non stick cooking utensils which at that time was priced about Rs 12000. I felt very proud. My name appeared in Dainik Jagran paper, I really felt that by being a home maker I have become eligible for a big prize, and a spiritual belief was awakened in my mind. And similarly, I also won many competitions, which kept giving me a new meaning in life that if you have a strong will power and faith then you can do a lot in life and become a source of inspiration for your family and society.

I have completed the B.F.A & M.F.A from the reputed MGKVP, Varanasi Institute in the years 1999 and 2001 respectively. I have attended various camps since my college years, like the Sanskrit Bharati camp at Raameshwar Goshala in 1998, the Cox&Kings camp at the KumbhMela in Allahabad in 2001 and also took part in the 14th Rashtriya Kala Parv, Tonk which was conducted online for the first time ever. Apart from being a part of camps throughout the country multiple times, I have also participated in famous group shows like the Nehru Art Gallery show in 1995, the ABC Art Gallery show in 2001, the Art Spectra “International Online Exhibition” that was held online in 2020 and many more. My work has been selected and recognized at the highest levels like in the Kala Mela of the North Central Zone which was organized in Allahabad in 1998, the Parsavnath Vidyapeeth/I.T.I Karondhi exhibition in 2000, in the prestigious A.I.F.A.C.S Rajya Lalit Kala Academy’s art display which was based in Lucknow in 2000/01, the 75th Platinum Jubilee All India Art Exhibition held at New Delhi in 2003, the Love Resolution art exhibition in Mizoram which was conducted virtually for the first time during the pandemic in 2020 and 2021 and various others, both physically and virtually. An artist is defined by their creativity, their individuality, their ingenuity; I had the honor to do various solo shows where I got the opportunity to showcase my talent like one at the Creative Painting Officers’ Club, Eastern Railway at Mughalsarai in 2001, the Prakriti Exhibition at U.P.S.L.K.A in 2001. Apart from solo shows, I got the chance to display my art alongside many great other artists in group shows, in 2000, I, along with my talented compatriot, Qamar Aara, did a show together at the MGAG II NCZCC. I have worked as a Designer at Silk ways & Woven Creation in the export materials department from June 1999 to August 2000 which was a very enriching experience for me. In recognition of my contribution towards the society and my work as an artist, I have been conferred quite a few prestigious awards including the 2nd prize at Parsavnath Vidyapith, ITI, Karaundhi, the 1st prize at the “Ganga & Buddha Mahotsav” art exhibition, both in 2000. I also received the Best Guru award from Khatri Hitkarini Sabha in 2017, the Rashtriya Yuva Mahila Khel Ratna Award at the 14th Rashtriya Kala Parv in 2020, the “Shaan e Hindustan” award on the occasion of women’s day 2021 which was awarded by MVMSS ,2023 award on the occasion of Teachers day(# follow the light)and a Gold Award at the Lalit Kala Kendra exhibition held in Guwahati, Assam in 2021. I have organized and mentored in two workshops at the RajyaLalit Kala Academy, Lucknow; first from 19th - 23rd October 2020 on the topic “Kashi me Shiv Ganga”, and from 21st - 27th June 2021 on the topic “Swatantra ki Kahani ke Rang Lalit Kala ke Sang”. Both of these workshops were conducted online, as an artist and as a person, we all have had to evolve into the digital era and adjust accordingly, I myself faced a few difficulties in adapting to the digital world, but before I knew, I was working just as efficiently and was able to be much more active than before, I even had the opportunity to be part of an online World Wide Webinar for the Panaash NGO and talk about “Art- Women & Humanity”, I also participated in the 2021 Jaipur Kala Mahotsav. My collections have been showcased in E. Railways offices, and in USA ,Singapore,Thailand & Japan as well. My paintings draw immense inspiration from nature and our culture and from the holy city Varanasi where I reside. I am currently working as an art teacher at Sunbeam English School, Bhagwanpur, Varanasi and pursuing my career as a freelance artist.

I am a home maker.and remain alway positive. I am fond of learning new things.and believes that if you want to learn new things ,age is no bar.i started learning dancing, singing at the age of 70 and enjoying my life with doing new activities.
