With a heart dedicated to quality improvement, she proudly held the title of a Certified Green Belt Six Sigma expert and served as an External Assessor of NQAS by the National Health System Resource Centre, New Delhi under MOHFW. But life took an unexpected turn when her son was diagnosed with leukemia, prompting her to leave her Haryana Govt. job. Undeterred by adversity, Dr. Shama embarked on a new journey as a freelancer. In the face of personal challenges, she found solace and purpose in contributing to the healthcare sector. The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare recognized her expertise, and she embraced the role of an empanelled external assessor, a position that allowed her to blend her skills and passion for quality healthcare. Dr. Shama's story unfolded further as she became a beacon of hope and change. Her focus remained steadfast on hospital administration and the implementation of quality accreditation programs such as JCI, NABH, NQAS, LaQshya, Kayakalp, and NABL. Through over 10 years of rich experience, she became a seasoned professional in operations management, internal audit and compliance management, hospital information systems, and quality management system.

This story begins then When I was 6 years old, my mother committed suicide by setting herself on fire. Because my father used to drink a lot she became sad and committed suicide.At that time my younger sister was only 2 years old, we have two sisters and one brother.Our grandmother used to take care of us at that time and our father used to drink alcohol. Our grandmother used to arrange food for us with the help of the village people because she could not cook herself. Then when I was in third class, I started cooking a little. Our father would not let us sleep the whole night after drinking alcohol and then When I was in 8th class, my grandmother also died.Then a mountain of troubles fell upon us. Father's intentions went wrong.Every night he was ask me to sleep with him . When I was lay down with him then he was tried to do something dirty with me so we was spent the whole night hiding outside to save myself and my sister. And in the morning he behaved as if nothing had happened. Life continued like this. The only good thing was that he worked in a government job, so some of his salary was given to us by his colleagues. Then when I was in eleventh class, our father also died. At that time we cried but were also very happy inside. Roop, my sister was in sixth class at that time and brother was in the first year of graduation. When I completed my graduation, my brother got me married. Then my husband and I got her married. By then he had got the job of our cruel father. Then my younger sister got married. During this time I continued my studies. Then I joined the teaching job, now I am on the post of Principal. During this time, I have faced a lot in my life but God has filled me with the feeling of love for others. I have helped many students and am still helping them. Because many such children come in whom I see my own sorrow, perhaps that is why God has given me such a dirty childhood, to understand the sorrow of people and to love them. I could not tell much in this story. But if in the future, If I can, I will definitely write a book. Thanks

अपने जीवन की कहानी - मेरा नाम तारावती सैनी "नीरज " है । मैं राजस्थान से हूं । और मैं एक लेखिका हूं। मैं जब छोटी थी लगभग चौथी कक्षा में पढ़ती थी तभी से मुझे लिखने का शौक था । लेकिन गांव में तो क्या बारह गांव तक कोई लेखक नहीं था तो कोई मेरे इस हुनर कोई समझ नहीं पाया । कोई मुझे पूछता तुम्हें क्या बनना है तो मैनें कभी नहीं कहा की मुझे डॉक्टर या टीचर बनना है मैं हमेशा कहती मुझे लेखिका बनना है । सब लोग मेरा मजाक बनाते मुझपर हंसते पर मैनें कभी किसी पर ध्यान नहीं दिया और अपनी टूटी फूटी रचनाएं लिखती रही । लेकिन मुझे मेरा नाम बिलकुल भी पसंद नहीं था बिलकुल मतलब फूटी आंख नहीं सुहाता था । मैं खूब रोती थी अपनी मां से खूब लड़ती कहती आपने ये मेरा क्या नाम रखा दिया है कितना पुराना है पूरे स्कूल में किसी का नहीं है । मेरी मां मुझे खूब समझाती लेकिन मुझे उस समय कुछ समझ में नहीं आता था । बस मैं अपने नाम को लेकर रोती थी । और जो मेरी सर्वप्रथम रचनाएं प्रकाशित हुई वह मैनें मेरे उपनाम से प्रकाशित करवाई थी । और कोई मुझसे मेरा नाम पूछता तो मैं अपना तारावती नाम न बताकर नीरज ही बताती थी । और इसी बीच मेरा लेखन चल रहा था पर गांव मैं मुझे बताने वाला कोई नहीं था की मैं इसमें कैसे आगे बढ़ सकती हूं लेकिन मजाक उड़ाने वाले बहुत थे पता नहीं इसे क्या करना है । पढ़ाई कंप्लीट होते ही मेरी शादी हो गई और मैंने सोचा अब मेरा भी वही होगा जो अक्सर मैं औरतों का हल देखती थी और मैंने मेरी लिखी तमाम रचनाओं को शादी से कुछ दिन पहले आग लगा दी और खूब रोई । शादी होने से पहले मेरे पति मुझसे कई बार मिलने आए हम फोन पर बातें करते थे लेकिन उनको मैनें कभी नहीं बताया की मुझे लिखने का शौक है । मेरी शादी के बाद जल्दी ही मेरा बेटा हो गया और जीवन के कुछ उतार चढ़ाव के बीच मैं कुछ सालों तक बिलकुल भी नहीं लिख पाई । कई बार कोने में जाकर रोती क्योंकि मैं अपने लिए समय नहीं दे पा रही थी जो मेरे सपने थे उनको पूरा नहीं कर पा रही थी लेकिन एक दिन मैंने ठान लिया की नहीं मैं मेरे सपनों को नहीं मरने दूंगी चाहे जो हो जाए और मैंने समय चुराकर लिखना शुरू कर दिया और जिस डायरी में मैं लिखती थी वह मैं अपने पतिदेव से छुपा कर रखती थी । हालांकि मेरे पति मेरी प्रति बहुत ही सेंसटिव है बहुत प्रेम करते हैं । पर मैं उन्हें बता नहीं पाई । क्यों न एक दिन जिस जगह मैं डायरी छुपाकर रखती थी वह मेरे पति को मिल गई और उन्होंने उसे पढ़ लिया उनके हाथ में मैं अपनी डायरी देखकर हैरान रह गई लेकिन उनके चेहरे पर एक मुस्कान थी और उन्होंने मुझे कहा तुम इतना अच्छा लिखती हो बताया क्यों नहीं और वह मेरी रचनाओं को संपादकों के पास लेकर पहुंचे और शादी के बाद फिर मेरी रचनाओं का प्रकाशन शुरू हुआ यह 2015 की बात थी । तब भी मैं नीरज नाम से ही रचनाएं प्रकाशित करवा रही थी। एक दिन बातचीत में मेरे पति को मेरे नाम वाली बात पता चली की मुझे अपना नाम बिलकुल भी पसंद नहीं इसलिए मैं रचनाएं नीरज नाम से प्रकाशित करवाती हूं । तो मेरे पति ने मुझे बहुत डांटा कहा तुम ये लेखन वेखन छोड़ दो । मैं डर गई जो व्यक्ति अपने नाम से प्रेम नहीं कर सकता वो अपने लेखन से क्या प्रेम करेगा । हमारे पास जो है जैसा है उसे हमें स्वीकार करना चाहिए । और तुम्हारा नाम तो बहुत अच्छा है । मैनें फिर उनके कहने पर एक प्रतिष्ठित अखबार में अपनी रचना भेजी अपने पूरे नाम सहित और उसमें मैनें अपना उपनाम जोड़ा मैं अपने उपनाम नीरज को छोड़ना नहीं चाहती और जब अगले हफ्ते मेरी रचना प्रकाशित हुई और मैनें अपना इतना बड़ा नाम अखबार में देखा तारावती सैनी " नीरज " तो मैं हैरान रह गई खुशी से मेरी आंखों में आसूं आ गए वह इतना अच्छा लग रहा था । और उसी दिन से मेरी किस्मत बदल गई जिस नाम को मैं गुमनाम रख रही थी उसी ने मुझ इतनी बड़ी और एक नहीं पहचान दी । मेरे उन सपनों को पूरा किया जिन्हें मैं बचपन से देखती थी । आज मुझे लोग देखते हैं तो कहते देख जैसे इसके सपने थे ये वैसी ही बन गई है । और मुझे ये चीज समझ में आई थी अपने पास जो है जैसा है उससे हमें प्रेम करना चाहिए उसकी हमें हमेशा कद्र करनी चाहिए कभी उसका अनादर नहीं करना चाहिए । इस लेखन और नाम ने मुझे राष्ट्रीय एवं अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर पर पहचान दिलाई । जिसका संक्षिप्त विवरण भेज रही हूं । कृतियां : कहानी संग्रह "नूरी" लघुकथा संग्रह : "बसंती रंग" पंडित जवाहरलाल नेहरू बाल साहित्य अकादमी राजस्थान से प्रकाशित बाल कहानी पुस्तक : "हुकू जिन्न" राजस्थान साहित्य अकादमी उदयपुर से प्रकाशित पुस्तक कहानी संग्रह : " चिड़कलियां" अंतर्राष्ट्रीय सांझा संग्रह "दूर कहीं मेरे गांव में, खुशबू -
